MANN+HUMMEL Awarded Green Business Of The Year Honor

The award stemmed from a recent project called the "Four Seasons Garden," a newly renovated garden for the city of Gastonia in North Carolina.

MANN+HUMMEL has received the Green Business of the Year award from the Keep Gastonia Beautiful committee. This award is presented for environmental leadership for Gastonia and Gaston County, North Carolina.

The award stemmed from a recent project called the “Four Seasons Garden,” a newly renovated garden for the city of Gastonia.

Keep Gastonia Beautiful is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful Inc., a national non-profit public education organization dedicated to protecting the natural beauty of American communities. This award is presented to one company per year that takes initiative to help the environment or local area in need. It was presented to the MANN + HUMMEL team during an award banquet at the Gastonia Convention Center downtown.

“We take pride in protecting and beautifying our environment. Our team is extremely proud to receive this award from Keep Gastonia Beautiful,” said Paul Caulford, health, safety and environment manager for MANN+HUMMEL. “We’re always looking for opportunities to better improve the environment and make a difference for present and future generations.”

The Four Seasons Garden is located on the Rankin Lake lakefront, complete with a walking track and decorative pass along the 1.8-mile long greenway.
