GLINDE, Germany Honeywell has appointed Miquel Tintoré as vice president of aftermarket sales, and Martin Baisch as global marketing manager, for its Friction Materials business.
Tintoré will succeed Willy Mohler, who is retiring. Mohler worked a total of 38 years for Honeywell’s Bendix and Jurid brands and held a number of senior sales roles. Tintoré has been with Honeywell since 2003, first as a marketing manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region of the Honeywell Building Automation business unit. Most recently he served as vice president of marketing for Friction Materials, where he helped create global marketing programs and standardized the organization and its processes. Tintoré studied electrical engineering in Barcelona and obtained an MBA at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. In his new role, he is responsible for the global sales of Bendix and Jurid brake products.
Baisch comes from South Africa and studied mechanical engineering in Johannesburg. He obtained an eMBM at the Free University of Berlin. A qualified engineer, he has been with Honeywell since 2003, and until 2007 was account manager for Honeywell Turbo Technologies before taking on a strategic marketing role within the unit.
