Exide Technologies Appoints Jeff Barna Vice President, U.S. Aftermarket Sales and Branch System

Exide Technologies announced that Jeff Barna has returned to the company as vice president - U.S. aftermarket sales and branch system, effective September 1.

ALPHARETTA, GA — Exide Technologies announced that Jeff Barna has returned to the company as vice president – U.S. aftermarket sales and branch system, effective September 1.

From 1987 to 2001, Barna held a number of sales and branch positions at Exide, including senior vice president of sales and service for the Americas, vice president of U.S. aftermarket sales and branch services, and vice president of eastern division sales and branch services.

After leaving Exide, he was senior vice president of sales and marketing at Millard Refrigerated Service and most recently served as president and chief executive officer of the company’s refrigerated logistics group. Earlier in his career, he was the New York City zone manager for the Monroe auto equipment division of Tenneco Automotive.

“Jeff is an extremely talented individual with a great understanding of the automotive replacement market vertical,” said E.J. O’Leary, president – Transportation Americas. “With his prior knowledge of Exide’s sales and branch network, the Exide team and much of our customer base, plus his experience working with Fortune 500 companies in the area of enhanced commercialization and logistics performance, we are confident that Jeff will deliver the level of support expected by our valued customers.”

Barna holds a bachelor’s degree from The College of William and Mary.
