Brake Parts Inc. Hires New VP Of Global Human Resources

New VP will be focused on staff and organizational development.

McHENRY, Ill. – As Brake Parts Inc. broadens its global presence, the company has added Randy Clausen as its new VP of global human resources. Clausen brings more than 25 years of global HR experience with specific focus in the Americas, Asia and Europe. His experience encompasses more than 20 yearswith Maytag Corp., and seven years with Dover Corp., where he was most recently the VP of HR for a $1.7 billion global business segment.
 
“Randy brings significant experience in talent development and succession planning. I believe his business-related expertise will generate results-oriented enhancements for the business. He has led several initiatives focused on productivity improvement and we look forward to working with him as we further develop employee-focused policies, programs and procedures,” said David Overbeeke, president and CEO, BPI.
 
“I’m currently in the process of reviewing all aspects of the business and people processes with the objective of enhancing BPI’s results orientation,” said Clausen, who holds a bachelors of science degree in management from Upper Iowa University. “I’m looking to build strong relationships with BPI’s leadership team so we can work together to continue to build on our standing as the best brake manufacturer in the world.”
 
Clausen said he also plans to develop programs that will enhance and augment the skill sets of the existing personnel to play bigger roles in the future success of the business.
