STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – TPMS tools and solutions provider Bartec, has hired Kelly Nugent as the company’s national sales manager-west.
 
Nugent brings extensive automotive tire experience to his new role, after 15 years in the business. As a tool and supply specialist with American Tire Distributors, Nugent built an excellent reputation of being knowledgeable and providing great service and follow-up. As a result, he built a network of loyal customers and colleagues.
 
Nugent rounds out a regional team that includes Ed Jones (South) and Steve Long (North). This “A-Team” of TPMS expertise manages a network of independent representatives and the very best group of distributor partners, the company says.
 
According to Scot Holloway, CEO and general manager of Bartec USA, this new hire is a result of increasing growth in the TPMS segment. “We are seeing a significant rise in the demand for our already popular line of TPMS Tools and Solutions, and we need to have more feet on the ground in order to continue to provide the excellent customer service our distributors and end-users expect,” he said.
