Yokohama Tire Corp. Unveils YokohamaTruck.com

All-new website unveiled at last week’s Mid-America Trucking Show and offers tools, resources and intuitive product/dealer searches on mobile devices to help fleet owners get the most out of their tire investment.

YokohamaTireSANTA ANA, Calif. – Yokohama Tire Corporation (YTC) has launched a new, dedicated commercial tire website, YokohamaTruck.com, which aims to help fleet owners get the strongest return on their tire investment and boost their bottom lines.

The site went live March 26, the first day of the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Ky., where YTC displayed its latest products.

According to Rick Phillips, YTC vice president of sales, the site features several business-driven tools, like the new Tire Inspection Guide that helps fleet customers identify the most common tire issues and fixes to keep their trucks on the road. Other tools featured on YokohamaTruck.com include a fuel savings calculator and tire inflation pressure calculator.

YokohamaTruck.com also will serve as the hub for updates on Yokohama’s new $300 million commercial tire factory being built in West Point, Miss., scheduled to open in the fall of 2015.

“When the plant is fully operational, it will produce up to one million truck tires annually. Our customers will get the products they need and sooner than before,” said Phillips.
