YANG Launches ‘Best Career For Your Future’ Video On Auto Care Careers Website

AutoCareCareersBETHESDA, Md. – The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG) at the Auto Care Association has launched a new video, “Best Career for Your Future,” hosted on the new auto care careers website, www.autocarecareers.org.

The video is a comprehensive overview of the auto care industry, highlighting the variety of career paths within the industry’s 500,000 businesses, which provide some 4.2 million jobs. The video features testimonials from successful young professionals in the auto care industry.

It also showcases the sophisticated auto care industry’s high-quality employees and the exciting opportunities available for young job seekers in multiple sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, service and repair, retail and more. The video is among the many resources featured on the recently launched auto care careers website at www.autocarecareers.org, created as part of the association’s Education Committee Auto Care Careers initiative to educate young people about, and attract them to, careers in the auto care industry.

“We all must do our part to keep this industry full of motivated, innovative and intelligent employees,” said Kathleen Schmatz, president and CEO, Auto Care Association. “’Best Career for your Future’ is a great way to teach the next generation about our dynamic opportunities so that the best and the brightest continue to enter the auto care industry.”

Additional resources on the www.autocarecareers.org site include a custom-built, interactive career accelerator where users can click on their preferred path to learn more about positions, advancement opportunities and career trajectories available in the auto care industry, as well as downloadable fact sheets that detail potential job titles and the skills required for industry positions. Association members are encouraged to link to the new video and website and use them as resources in their recruitment efforts.
