Wagner ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT Rear Brake Pads Released For Cadillac ATS

New ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT pads also available for late-model Mercedes and Volkswagen applications.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Premium Wagner ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT replacement rear brake pads from Federal-Mogul are now available in the aftermarket for 2013 Cadillac ATS models, the company announced. ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT pads — representing the next generation of automotive ceramic friction technology — are now also available for popular late-model Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen passenger vehicles. The Wagner ThermoQuiet product line covers more than 99 percent of the North American passenger vehicle population.

The following new ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT pad sets are available through leading brake products distributors:

• QC1659: 2013 Cadillac ATS (rear)
• QC768B: 2013 Volkswagen Jetta (front)
• QC1629: 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML350 (front)

ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT brake pads feature Federal-Mogul’s next-generation proprietary ceramic formulations and Dynamic Noise Absorption technology, which is integrated into the brake pad to target and absorb vibration at the point of contact for quieter braking. In addition, these formulations feature thermal-sensitive properties that adapt to the wide range of temperatures encountered during everyday driving conditions to ensure superior stopping performance.

"ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT is the latest in ceramic formulation technology, which addresses the challenges and increased demands of today’s braking systems," said Walt Keating, senior product manager, North American friction, Federal-Mogul. "These pads are developed through Federal-Mogul’s extensive OE insight and are engineered to offer optimum performance in any driving condition."
