VDO REDI-Sensor Rubber Snap-In TPMS Sensor Ready To Install On Domestic And Asian Vehicles

The new Snap-In TPMS sensor is pre-programmed and designed to follow OE vehicle relearn procedures.

VDO - REDI SensorContinental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has expanded its VDO REDI-Sensor Program with the addition of its VDO REDI-Sensor Multi-Application Rubber Snap-in Sensor, P/N SE10001HPR. Continental is a leading manufacturer of complete OE Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) and OE-validated TPMS replacement parts, and is the maker of VDO REDI-Sensor Multi-Application TPMS Sensors.

Steve Landis, Continental head of product management, TPMS & Electronics Innovation, noted, “Just like the original metal clamp-in REDI-Sensor (SE10001HP), our new rubber snap-in stem version is ready to install right out of the box and pre-programmed to fit popular domestic and Asian vehicles. REDI-Sensor is designed to follow OE vehicle relearn procedures. No additional sensor programming or cloning steps are required.”

The VDO REDI-Sensor Program replaces more than 250 OE sensors with only four sensor SKUs. The new option of a rubber snap-in sensor further strengthens the TPMS service advantage provided by REDI-Sensor, while continuing to dramatically reduce the SKUs needed to service incoming customers. VDO REDI-Sensor works with all major TPMS scan tools and no training is required, according to Continental.

Continental’s in-house development and manufacturing expertise includes complete Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems, replacement parts and passenger and commercial vehicle tires. All VDO TPMS replacement parts are made in ISO-certified facilities to the same quality standards as the OE parts supplied to automakers worldwide, the company states.
