United Engine & Machine Names Industry Veteran As Vice President Of Sales

Ken Carter’s responsibilities will include managing all aspects of coordinating customer sales programs, sales initiatives and new product introductions.

United - Vice President of SalesScott Sulprizio, president of United Engine & Machine, one of North America’s largest piston manufacturers, has announced Ken Carter is its new vice president of sales.

Carter comes to UEM with a wealth of experience in the engine parts aftermarket. He has held similar sales positions with MAHLE Inc., Clevite Engine Parts and Dana Corp. He has been on a number of industry boards and has been involved with the automotive aftermarket for more than 40 years.

Carter’s responsibilities will include managing all aspects of coordinating customer sales programs, sales initiatives and new product introductions. His goals are supporting all of UEM’s customers with an emphasis on personal attention, and expansion of the brand.

United Engine & Machine’s world headquarters, located in Carson City, Nevada, features its design and engineering center, with manufacturing in North America.

Dill Air Controls announces the newest member of its team, Sean Lannoo. Joining the company on April 29, 2024, he will step into the newly established role of Technical Training Manager. 

Bringing experience from his tenure at Continental, Lannoo has been deeply immersed in the TPMS realm since its introduction into the US market, the company said. Prior to his time at Continental, he honed his expertise at VDO. "Lannoo’s comprehensive knowledge, technical expertise and significant contributions during in-store interactions will undoubtedly further our mission to provide exceptional service and training to our customers," the company said.
