Uni-Select Enters Into Agreement To Acquire Refinish Solutions

The acquisition will expand Uni-Select subsidiary FinishMaster's footprint in the Virginia and Washington, D.C., metropolitan areas.

Uni-Select - LogoUni-Select Inc., a leading distributor of automotive products in Canada and parent company of FinishMaster Inc., a leading distributor of paint and related products in the United States, announced that FinishMaster has entered into an agreement to purchase substantially all of the assets of Aquia Auto Parts Inc., doing business under the name Refinish Solutions. This transaction, the consummation of which is subject to customary closing conditions and expected to close within 30 days, will expand FinishMaster’s footprint in the Virginia and Washington, D.C., metropolitan areas.

Founded in 1978, Refinish Solutions has grown consistently by helping customers improve their profitability. Operating from two locations, in Stafford and Springfield, Virginia, the team has developed longstanding customer relationships through education, innovation and teamwork, with a keen emphasis on technical expertise and training. FinishMaster currently operates five locations in the state.
