TRICO, TerraPass Introduce Sustainable Wiper Blades at AAPEX

The wiper blades utilize recycled tires and plastics, as well as recycled cardboard for packaging.

TRICO has released a new line of beam wiper blades, TRICO Terra, made from recycled materials, including tires and plastics. These wiper blades are designed to maintain functionality while incorporating sustainable materials in their production.

The wiper blades utilize recycled tires for the airfoils and incorporate recycled plastics for the construction of end caps and connectors. The packaging for the TRICO Terra blades is made from 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard, and each set is equipped with a pre-attached easy connection adaptor to reduce waste.

As part of TRICO’s partnership with TerraPass, a company that specializes in carbon offset products, both companies will look for opportunities to plant trees to compensate for carbon emissions associated with the production of the TRICO Terra wiper blades.
