OSAKA, Japan — The Board of Directors of Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. has announced that effective Jan. 1, 2008 Yoshio Kataoka will step down as president and chief executive officer and representative director and will transition to the role of advisor to the president. He will remain on the Toyo Board of Directors.
Toyo board member Kenji Nakakura, currently managing executive officer and president of DiverTech Co., will succeed Kataoka as president, CEO and representative director.
Paul Donahue (at left) will transition from chairman and CEO to executive chairman. William Stengel, II, currently president and COO, will succeed Donahue as president and CEO of GPC and will serve as a member of the board of directors.
Genuine Parts Company announced that Paul D. Donahue will transition from chairman and CEO to executive chairman, effective June 3, 2024. At that time, William P. Stengel, II, currently president and COO, will succeed Donahue as president and CEO of GPC and will serve as a member of the board of directors.
Brian Martin joins the company as business development manager for North America.
