Toyo Canada Gets New President

Shoji Hirao has been named president of Toyo Tire Canada Inc., replacing Shingo Matsuoka, who has been reassigned to Toyo's operations in Tokyo.

RICHMOND, British Columbia – Shoji Hirao has been named president of Toyo Tire Canada Inc., replacing Shingo Matsuoka, who has been reassigned to Toyo’s operations in Tokyo.

Hirao brings extensive management experience in both the North American and Japanese markets to his new job.

Most recently, Hirao served as general manager of the sales department for North America. From 1998 to 2003, he served as price administration manager and marketing coordinator for Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.
