BAY SHORE, N.Y. — Longtime aftermarket industry veteran Anthony "Tony" Perticari has joined the sales staff of USA Industries, serving as its new director of sales-special markets. He will be responsible for developing and managing new markets and well as special company projects for the aftermarket parts remanufacturer.
USA Industries produces and distributes premium quality remanufactured and new alternators, starters, CV axles and disc brake calipers, worldwide. Founded in 1985 in Bay Shore, N.Y., USA Industries today has more than 300 employees with warehousing and distribution centers across the United States.
Perticari previously held senior sales management positions with Robert Bosch, Crown Remanufacturing and most recently, Cardone Industries.
Tony Perticari has spent more than 41 years in the automotive parts industry. He joined Philadelphia-based Cardone Industries in 2006 as director of sales – special markets. Prior to that, Perticari spent 20 years with Crown Remanufacturing and was the company’s VP of sales and marketing. Perticari began his career in the automotive industry in 1969 with Sunoil. In 1973, joined the Robert Bosch Corp., and during his 13 years with the company, held various positions including territory representative, district manager, zone manager and national accounts manager.
Perticari was the chairman of Auto International Association (AIA) from 2007-2009 and has a member of the AIA Board of Directors since 1993. He also has been a member of the Automotive Sales Council since 1999 and served
on the AAIA/AAPEX Show Committee in 2008 2009.
In 1999, Perticari was honored by AIA with a “Lifetime Achievement Award” and was recognized as its “Person of the Year” in 2002.
