Tom Otter Named Vice President Of Sales And Marketing For Carlisle Brake & Friction

Otter joins Carlisle following a successful career as vice president of sales and marketing for Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems.

SOLON, Ohio – Carlisle Brake & Friction (CBF) has appointed Tom Otter as vice president of sales and marketing. Otter immediately assumes responsibility for leading Carlisle’s OE and aftermarket sales teams in North and South America, Carlisle’s North American customer service team, as well as the global marketing, product and program management organization. Otter joins Carlisle following a successful career as vice president of sales and marketing for Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems.

Prior to joining CBF, Otter led the Bendix North American sales and marketing group in coordination with the global selling efforts of Knorr-Bremse. Otter’s career at Bendix, and Honeywell/AlliedSignal prior to acquisition by Knorr, spanned more than 19 years. He joined the company in 1994 after holding a position in finance at TRW Aftermarket Automotive.
