TI Automotive Names Andy Ridgway Vice President, Thermal Products

In his new role, Ridgway will direct all activities related to TI Automotive's Global Thermal Products group, which includes heating and cooling technology for the vehicle engine, powertrain, battery and passenger cabin systems.

TI Automotive, a leading global supplier of automotive fluid systems technology, has named Andy Ridgway as vice president, Thermal Products.

Ridgway joins TI Automotive from IAV, where he was chief executive for the Americas. In his new role, he will direct all activities related to TI Automotive’s Global Thermal Products group, which includes heating and cooling technology for the vehicle engine, powertrain, battery and passenger cabin systems.

“Andy has extensive experience in automotive thermal management technology and has a full understanding of the global automotive landscape, having worked on both the supplier and OEM manufacturer sides of the business,” said Bill Kozyra, chairman and CEO, TI Automotive. “He is a tremendous addition to the team and with the industry expanding its focus on hybrid and electric vehicles, he will help further position TI Automotive as a fluid handling systems leader in this market segment.”

Prior to IAV, Ridgway held management positions with Nissan, General Motors, Guardian Automotive and Valeo in various countries around the world, including the U.K., Germany and Japan. Originally from Manchester, U.K., Ridgway earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree with Honors from Coventry University in the U.K. He now resides in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
