For this week’s "The Pulse," we look at new rolling data from IMR Research that shows the average number of repair orders per week at various repair outlets. The data was compiled from August 2010 to July 2011.
As the chart below illustrates, quick lubes and new car dealers take the lead in the highest number of repair orders each week (on average). This is in line with IMR’s rolling data on number of vehicles serviced each week at these same outlets. In both situations, the number of bays at each location and the type of work performed greatly influence these numbers.
