The MAHLE Group Appoints Dan Moody as New General Manager

During his three-year career with the MAHLE Group, Moody has served as a key coordinator of several acquisition projects, including the Dana Engine Parts business.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The MAHLE Group recently named Dan Moody as general manager of MAHLE Clevite Inc., effective immediately. Moody will report to Arnd Franz, director and general manager for MAHLE Aftermarket.

During his three-year career with the MAHLE Group, Moody has served as a key coordinator of several acquisition projects, including the Dana Engine Parts business. Most recently he led the MAHLE Clevite Global Bearing business.

In his new role, Moody will assume the management responsibilities for all North American Aftermarket activities, which include MAHLE Clevite Inc., MAHLE Clevite Canada, ULC and the Aftermarket division of MAHLE Componentes de Motor de México, S. de R.L. de C.V.

Moody began his career at Sealed Power Corp. (now SPX Service Solutions). He later served as president for the Dana Sealed Power/Perfect Circle group, and became group vice president of the Dana Engine Products Group before joining the MAHLE Group in 2006. Moody’s extensive experience strengthens MAHLE Clevite Inc. as the premier supplier of engine system components in North America.

Michael Tate, who previously served as Mahle Clevite’s GM, has left the company to pursue other interests, said the company.
