DEARBORN, Mich. – Four individuals who moved the world forward through their contributions to the global automotive industry will be inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame at the 2015 Induction & Awards Gala Ceremony July 23 in Detroit.

The Automotive Hall of Fame has announced that the inductees for 2015 are Elwood Haynes, (1857-1925), co-founder of the Haynes-Apperson Automobile Co. (1898-1925); Luca di Montezemolo, former chairman of Ferrari S.p.A.; Roger Penske, founder and chairman of Penske Corp.; and Ratan Tata, founder and chairman emeritus of Tata Sons.

The Automotive Hall of Fame also will honor Rodney O’Neal, former CEO and president, Delphi Automotive PLC, as its 2015 Industry Leader of the Year.

“We are pleased to honor four individuals whose entrepreneurial spirit helped create today’s global automotive industry,” said William Chapin, president of the Automotive Hall of Fame. “Each made their unique vision a reality through tenacity and creativity. It is the story of the automotive industry from the beginning and the Automotive Hall of Fame is proud to share that story.

The Induction & Awards Gala Ceremony takes place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 23 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. The Induction & Awards Gala Ceremony will include remarks by A.J.
