LAS VEGAS — MPi, a subsidiary of Indentifix affiliate Service Repair Solutions Inc., has announced the promotion of Susan Lovett, formerly MPi’s director of marketing, to the newly created position of senior director of marketing communications. In this, role Lovett will be responsible for the integrated marketing/communications, brand management and creative development activities of MPi. She will report directly to Les Silver, MPi’s chairman and CEO, and will be based out of MPi’s Las Vegas offices.
"Susan has demonstrated exceptional performance in the execution of her responsibilities over the last four years. From her expert handling of major conventions such as NADA, to trade shows of all sizes; to preparation and coordination of magazine advertising, direct mail and video testimonials; to publishing articles in industry publications; Susan has been responsible for creating a professional image for our companies and significantly raising our profile in the industry," said Silver.
Lovett brings to MPi 20 years of marketing communications expertise. Prior to joining MPi, Lovett served as senior project manager for AdMail West, a leading direct mail marketing company for many Fortune 500 companies. During her three-year tenure, Lovett quickly built up her accounts to the point where she was responsible for generating more than $1 million in annual revenue from her accounts alone.
Prior to that, Lovett worked as marketing communications manager at AUTOVIA, a system that linked independent service shops to auto parts distributors via the Internet. Lovett was responsible for overseeing all advertising, direct mail, tradeshow management and collateral development. From 1994 to 2000, Lovett worked as a business development specialist at Deloitte Consulting, in Sacramento, Calif., where she was responsible for developing and producing multi-million dollar public sector proposals.
Lovett holds a bachelors degree in journalism from The Ohio State University.
