Telematics has been a hot topic in the automotive aftermarket over the past year, as the automotive industry looks to reinvent itself and promote the industry as one that can create safer and more technologically advanced vehicles.

In our most recent reader poll, less than a quarter of AMN readers said they subscribe to a service such as OnStar in their vehicles. Still, it appears that only a small portion of the population are early adopters when it comes to actually using telematics in their vehicles.
