CONNERSVILLE, Ind. – Stant Corp., a manufacturer of engineered vapor and fluid control components, has announced the addition of its new CEO Curt Howell.
Howell joins Stant Corp. from American Axle & Manufacturing Inc. (AAM), where he spent the past 16 years. His most recent position at AAM was the P&L leader for the Americas, a $1.9 billion business unit. Prior to his employment at AAM, Howell spent 10 years at Chrysler.
He comes to Stant with more than 25 years of global experience in the automotive and industrial markets and a long track record of delivering innovative product solutions, manufacturing excellence and a strong service culture to some of the world’s largest and most demanding industrial companies. Howell has extensive international experience, having lived and worked in North America, South America, Europe, India, China and Japan. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
