GERMANTOWN, Tenn. – J.R. Sacks, a customer-service manager for Standard Auto Parts, a Baltimore-based Auto Pride member, has been named the grand prize winner of a trip to the Team Texas High Performance Driving School in Ft. Worth as part of the “Rev Up & Win Challenge” promotion sponsored by the Four Seasons division of SMP, according to Steve Tucker, vice president of Auto Pride.

“I’m pleased that a longtime employee like J.R. will experience the ride of a lifetime through another successful promotion with one of Auto Pride’s valued manufacturer partners,” Tucker said.

After entering the contest online, Sacks was thrilled when he received the call from the Four Seasons rep notifying him that he’d won a unique racing experience, which will take place Oct. 7 on the high banks of the Team Texas oval speedway. Valued at $1,400, the prize includes three 10-lap segments in an authentic NASCAR Sprint Cup stock car, including instruction and drafting maneuvering with a partner.

“Driving a race car around a track at high speeds has been on my bucket list for years,” said Sacks, who started as a counterman for Standard Auto Parts more than two decades ago. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I’m happy to scratch off my list.”
