WESTBURY, N.Y. – Spectronics Corp. has promoted Michael Fleming to director of product management.

Fleming joined Spectronics 19 years ago as a sales application engineer for the AC&R and pipe freezer divisions, eventually moving on to product manager and national sales manager. He was then given the additional responsibility for also being the national sales manager of the AC&R, automotive, industrial, aviation and the pipe freezer divisions.

Before joining Spectronics, he worked in the research and engineering labs of both Pall Corp. and Knogo North America.

In his new position, Fleming will be in charge of product management ─ improving, researching and innovating new products. His work will include bringing all products to the next level, incorporating UV LED technology with more features and benefits. He’ll also be responsible for developing new markets for all the Spectroline and Tracerline products.

Fleming holds a bachelor of science degree in applied physics from the State University of New York College at Geneseo.
