SKF Receives Excellent Quality Award From Tesla Motors For Outstanding Performance

SKF has worked with Tesla since the automaker launched its first emissions-free Tesla Roadster sports car in 2008.

GOTHENBURG, Sweden – SKF has been awarded the Tesla Motors Excellent Quality award, which is given to the top three suppliers achieving outstanding performance in the areas of quality, delivery and customer service.
 
SKF has worked with Tesla since the automaker launched its first emissions-free Tesla Roadster sports car in 2008. The latest agreement includes delivery of SKF Energy Efficient deep groove ball bearings and low-weight hybrid (ceramic) bearings for the electric motor and gearbox for inclusion in their all-electric luxury sports car, Tesla Model S.
