SKF Appoints George Garner As Vice President Of Automotive Sales For Vehicle Service Market, North America

Garner most recently served as the NAPA sales director for SKF, spearheading the marketing and sales activities in the United States and Canada.

ELGIN, Ill. – SKF has announced the appointment of George Garner as vice president of automotive sales for the SKF Vehicle Service Market (VSM), North America Business Unit, effective immediately. Garner most recently served as the NAPA sales director for SKF, spearheading the marketing and sales activities in the United States and Canada.
 
In his new role, Garner will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for SKF VSM in the United States and Canada. He also will provide support for the SKF automotive aftermarket sales team in Mexico as needed. Garner will be based out of the SKF office in Elgin, Ill.
 
“George’s automotive aftermarket sales background and past experience will serve him well in his new role,” said Tom O’Brien, president, VSM, North America Business Unit. “We are pleased to welcome George as the new vice president of automotive sales.”
 
Garner has more than 25 years of automotive aftermarket experience in sales and has been with SKF since 2001. He has a bachelor’s of arts degree from Western Washington University.
