Siemens VDO Names New VP of Sales and Marketing for Service and Special Solutions Division

Siemens VDO has promoted Sean Stanic to vice president, sales and marketing for its Service & Special Solutions group. In this new role, Stanic will be responsible for the overall management of the sales, marketing, engineering services and tech support departments for the Service & Special Solutions group based in Allentown, Pa. All sales managers, department heads and personnel will report to him.

ALLENTOWN, PA — Siemens VDO has promoted Sean Stanic to vice president, sales and marketing for its Service & Special Solutions group.

In this new role, Stanic will be responsible for the overall management of the sales, marketing, engineering services and tech support departments for the Service & Special Solutions group based in Allentown, Pa. All sales managers, department heads and personnel will report to him.

Stanic became a part of Siemens VDO Automotive Corp. as a result of the merger between Siemens Automotive and VDO North America in early 2002. He had served VDO North America as Audio Navigation Manager since 1999. In July 2003, Stanic was appointed director of sales for the Service & Special Solutions group. Before that, he spent two years as division manager of Special OEM, Fleet and Parts & Accessories.

Prior to joining VDO, Stanic was the VP of sales & marketing for Jacobs Electronics. He has also served as unit manager for Rostra Precision Controls and was a national sales manager for ITT Automotive.
