Shell Lubricants Names New General Manager, Business-to-Business

Steve Harman to transition from vice president of Shell Lubricants Americas to new Shell role.

HOUSTON – Shell Lubricants North America has named Andrew Hepher as general manager, Business-to-Business (B2B). Hepher will join the lubricants marketer on Oct. 1, from Shell Energy Europe, where he is serving as vice president, Strategy & Portfolio.

"I am delighted that we have attracted such top talent to join us in our growth journey,” said Steve Harman, vice president, Lubricants Americas. “Through his career, Andrew has demonstrated a passion for growing business and ensuring world-class service to customers. His experience in other markets will certainly aid in our efforts to further our Direct and Distributor relationships in the region.”

Hepher has had extensive experience in B2B sales in many different markets including the Americas. In his 20-plus year career at Shell, he has held positions in several other businesses, including commercial fuels. Most notably, Hepher held the role of general manager for the Shell Lubricants business in Germany, which is a largely B2B market where distributors play a key role.

Shell also announced that when Harman departs this month to assume a new position at Shell, Lisa Davis will take the helm as vice president of Shell Lubricants Americas and Hepher will fill her current GM position. Davis came to Shell in 1986 and has served a variety of roles spanning Shell businesses in both the U.S. and abroad.
