Among the new parts are right and left front lower control arms featuring premium-quality integral MOOG ball joints for more than 1.1 million four-wheel-drive Dodge Dakota (2000-2004) and Durango (2000-2003) models and more than 7.7 million GM light trucks and SUVs, including Cadillac Escalade and Chevrolet Avalanche, Express 1500 and 2500, and Silverado 1500 applications ranging from the 1999 through 2008 model years.

Among the new parts now available through MOOG distributors are front sway bar link kits for 2009-2011 Hyundai Genesis sedans; inner tie rod end for 2009-2011 Honda Fit models; rear upper control arm with integral MOOG ball joint for 1998-2002 Honda Accord coupes and sedans; and front upper control arms with MOOG ball joint and offset shaft for Chevrolet Blazer, Chevrolet S10 and GMC Jimmy and Sonoma models ranging from the 1997 through 2005 model years.

WAI Acquires Some Mevotech Divisions
WAI, a global supplier of rotating electrical, has reached an agreement to acquire the CV shaft, rack and pinion, wiper motor and window lift motor divisions of Mevotech. Mevotech, a Canadian-based company founded in 1982, is a supplier of chassis parts, control arms, hub bearing assemblies and strut mounts, servicing a broad range of customers across Canada, the United States and Mexico.
Speed Tech Performance Selects MMM as PR Firm of Record

Cooper-Standard Automotive Acquires Stake in Guyoung Technology
Cooper-Standard Automotive has acquired a 20 percent equity interest in Guyoung Technology Co., Ltd. Guyoung supplies metal stamped products to Korean vehicle manufacturers and currently provides Cooper-Standard with stampings for NVH components such as control arms and links. Cooper-Standard established a technical agreement with Guyoung for the development of suspension components in June 2004. Under the new agreement, Cooper-Standard and Guyoung will cooperate in supplying stampings and NVH components to OEM manufacturers worldwide.
Metaldyne Expands Technical Capabilities in Plymouth, Mich.
Metaldyne has opened a new 27,000-square-foot technical center in Plymouth, Mich., which will be dedicated to the company’s chassis group. The facility will house chassis group personnel including finance, human resources, product engineering, program management, quality and testing. A 13,000-square-foot test lab will serve as the design and development center for products such as chassis suspension components, wheel-end assemblies, ball joints and control arms.
Mevotech Expands Coverage with 188 New Part Numbers
The release covers domestic and import passenger vehicles, pickup trucks, vans, SUVs and EVs, up to the 2023 vehicle model year.
