Uni-Select and MAWDI Join Forces in the U.S.
Uni-Select Inc. announced today that, through its subsidiary Uni-Select USA, Inc, it has entered into a binding agreement to join forces with Middle Atlantic Warehouse Distributor, Inc. (MAWDI) in line with its U.S. strategy. MAWDI, which is based in Tonawanda, NY, is a warehouse distributor that operates 31 distribution centers and 145 corporate stores in 18 states. The transaction involves the purchase of all of the stock of MAWDI for cash or a combination of cash and shares. It has also been agreed that MAWDI’s President Jim Buzzard will assume the leadership of Uni-Select USA as its new executive vice president and that, subject to shareholders’ approval, Clay Buzzard will join the board of directors of Uni-Select Inc.
Edelbrock Exhibit to Be Shown at Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum
For nearly 67 years the name Edelbrock has been synonymous with performance and racing. The story of this remarkable family and company, which helped shape the hot rod car culture and launch an industry, began in 1938 with Vic Edelbrock Sr. working in a small garage in Los Angeles. It continues today with Vic Edelbrock Jr. at the helm of the $115 million-plus Edelbrock Corporation. Now this story of ingenuity and automotive performance will be told through a special exhibit at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California.
Two Keystone Automotive Industries Board Members Retire
Keystone Automotive Industries announced that board members Al Ronco and Ron Brown have informed the company of their decision not to stand for re-election at Keystone’s annual meeting to be held this month. The company said it has nominated James Robert Gerrity and newly appointed CEO Richard Keister to fill two of three board vacancies.

Middle Atlantic Warehouse Distributor Inc. (MAWDI) and icarz today announced that they will partner to deliver advanced systems capabilities to all customers of MAWDI warehouse locations. Dura Automotive Standardizes Manufacturing Operations
Dura Automotive Systems has announced it will standardize its North American manufacturing operations on QAD MFG/PRO eB2 and related applications. QAD Inc. is a provider of enterprise applications for global manufacturers. QAD Global Services will work together with Dura to provide consulting and implementation services. Dura will deploy MFG/PRO eB2 at nine production sites and upgrade 11 other locations in North America. Dura said it expects QAD applications will help streamline manufacturing and enterprise functions shared by multiple locations, enable more efficient financial management and accelerate information transfer along the supply chain.
