SCRS Joins Auto Care Careers Industry Job Board Network As Newest Partner

The job board currently hosts hundreds of positions available today in marketing, finance, legal, HR, information technology, logistics, sales, international trade, facility management, technicians and other career specialties in the auto care industry.

The Auto Care Association announced that the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) has joined the Auto Care Careers Industry Job Board Network along with partners SEMA, CAWA, Babcox Media and NIADA.

auto-care-careers-logo“The industry collaboration makes this job board platform the largest in the auto care industry,” said Bill Hanvey, president and CEO, Auto Care Association. “Collaborating with SCRS allows for more participation from the collision community both from the employer and job seeker perspective.”

The industry job board, an easy-to-use online resource for both applicants and employers, is designed to be a central hub where auto care job seekers and job creators connect. The job board currently hosts hundreds of positions available today in marketing, finance, legal, HR, information technology, logistics, sales, international trade, facility management, technicians and other career specialties in the auto care industry.

Postings for employers range from $200 to $300 for a single, 30-day post and are uploaded to all participating partners’ job board websites, including Babcox Media properties such as aftermarketNews, Underhood Service and Tomorrow’s Technician. Job posts average 600 views per post and candidates can view open positions on any of the partner websites. Job seekers can browse the website, upload resumes and create job alerts for no charge.

“The shortage of emerging technical staff entering our field is one of the greatest challenges facing our industry,” said Andy Dingman, chairman, SCRS. “It’s important to us at SCRS to recognize new entrants in this industry and to help make them aware of the expansive career opportunities that exist for them in our field. Most importantly, it’s a priority for us to connect them with our members’ businesses who are actively looking for new talent. We want to do everything possible to make sure that hard-working young technicians find their way to a rewarding career in the industry.”
