We are looking to fill the positions of Product Specialist and Brand Manager.

Product Specialist:

In this critical position, the Product Specialist will be responsible for the addition of new products and the maintenance of existing products, and will report directly to the Product Manager. The Product Specialist will work closely with our customers and the Marketing Department at Four Seasons to field complaints, answer technical & catalog questions from customers and end users, as well as assist in the development of training and other marketing information to further promote and enhance the Four Seasons product line.  The Product Specialist is an integral part of the product category team.  The most important responsibility will be in the development (including, but not limited to, research, testing and validation) of potential new products within their assigned product categories. Additional responsibilities will be Product Line Maintenance, Product Line Promotion and Customer Service.

Additional Responsibilities and Qualifications:  1) Knowledge of the automotive climate control systems and components; 2) Proficiency in computer skills specific to Microsoft Office products is necessary to perform this job at an acceptable level; 3) Self-motivated with a positive/professional attitude with the ability to work in a fast paced environment with heavy workload requirements; 4) College degree preferred but not required; or a combination of education and experience.

Brand Manager:

This position will be directly responsible for the day-to-day marketing and sales needs of select customers and sales force that cannot be addressed by the Customer Service Department. Other duties may be assigned as needed by the Manager, Marketing and Business Development, the Director of Marketing & Supply Chain Management or the Divisional Vice President/ General Manager. 

These duties include, but are not limited to, providing the necessary support to develop, produce, and maintain:

• Sales and promotional programs to increase sales and gross profits for Four Seasons and Standard Motor Products, Inc.
• Communication of company policy to customers and sales groups
• In house customer line reviews and stocking recommendations
• Coordinate printing and distribution of materials
• Customer, sales force, and catalog mailing lists

The Brand Manager will interface with other individuals and departments to:

• Complete special requests from customers and sales representatives.
• Create sales bulletins, marketing literature, show and presentation materials
• Communicate product or other issues
• Track sales activity
• Develop competitive comparisons
• Obtain competitive information

The Brand Manager will attend trade shows, customer, company and industry events and meetings as needed. The Brand Manager will also provide backup support to the Manager – Marketing and Business Development in the area of Customer Presentations, Business Development and Special Projects. While this position has no direct reports, it does assist in supervising specific departmental projects as designated by the departmental management team

REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE FOR BRAND MANAGER :

• 5+ years of automotive aftermarket – Sales / Marketing to Retail / WD segment.
• Must be detailed oriented, able to prioritize, multi-task and complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Automotive and/or heavy duty truck aftermarket account experience is required. Associates degree or equivalent experience acceptable, Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point is essential. Experience in Microsoft Access preferred. Likewise, a familiarity with AS400 operating systems and J.D. Edwards ERP systems preferred but not required.
