PIAA’s Curt Bryant Promoted To Operations Manager

Bryant has served as controller for PIAA for the past several years.

PORTLAND, Ore. – PIAA Corp. USA has promoted Curt Bryant to operations manager. The announcement was made by Rodger Wagner, executive vice president for PIAA’s North American operations. Bryant’s promotion as effective as of Feb. 1. PIAA (pronounced pe’-uh) is a leading global supplier of accessory and replacement lighting products for automotive, powersports and motorsports markets.

Bryant has served as controller for PIAA for the past several years. During that time, his responsibilities have expanded beyond those typical of a controller. These added responsibilities include managing the company’s warehousing and logistics, customer service, marketing and sales support and e-commerce activities.

Prior to joining PIAA, Bryant was a financial administrator for JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he managed banking and investment strategies. Before that he served as director of sales and marketing for LRD Performance Specialties Inc., a supplier of aftermarket accessories. In addition, he previously served as senior merchandiser for SAS Retail Merchandising. He holds a B.S. degree in business administration – marketing from Portland State University, and an MBA from Marylhurst University.

In making the announcement, Wagner highlighted Bryant’s background as key to his expanded responsibilities with PIAA. “Curt has done a terrific job as controller here at PIAA,” said Wagner. “But we knew from his background that he brought extensive sales and marketing experience skills and insights that are not commonly found in financial experts. When you add in his specific experience with automotive and powersports marketing, you find a person with unique credentials that fit particularly well with PIAA’s business model.

“PIAA’s North American business continues to blossom, particularly as we expand our offerings of LED fog and driving lamps and related products," Wagner added. "We continue to seek and add distribution with our retail partners, and Curt’s expanded contributions will help assure our continued leadership and growth in the markets we serve.”
