Permatex to Host Two NHRA Celebs at AAPEX Booth

LAS VEGAS – Permatex will be featuring two notable NHRA celebrities at opposite ends of its booth (3218) during the 2007 AAPEX show next week in Las Vegas. They include, Jay Blake, owner and crew chief of the Follow A Dream Race Team, one of the top teams in the NHRA Championship Top Alcohol Funny Car Series and Steve Johnson, NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Racer and U.S. Nationals Champion.

Jay Blake will be at the Permatex booth for all three days of the show, 9 am to 12 pm. From 1 to 3 pm he will be signing autographs, meeting with fans, and displaying his team’s 2000 Dodge Avenger Alcohol Funny Car.

Steve Johnson will be at the Permatex booth from 10 am to 12 pm on Tuesday (10/30), and from 9 am to 11 am on Wednesday (10/31). In addition to signing autographs, Johnson will also have with him his famous “Reaction Exhibit” – a special configuration of his championship Pro Stock Motorcycle that booth visitors can mount and test their reaction time against an NHRA style “Christmas Tree” starter. The “Reaction Exhibit” will be open to booth visitors throughout all three days of the show. An autographed die-cast model of the Steve Johnson’s bike will be awarded for the best reaction time after every morning and afternoon session.
