ANAHEIM, CA — While unable to officially comment on his departure, sources close to ARI have confirmed that ARI CEO Larry Pavey was no longer serving as chief executive of the company.
Pavey joined ARI in 2003 after a long career with Dana Corp. He previously served as president of Dana’s Under Vehicle Group, with responsibility for all businesses serving brake, chassis and driveline products around the world. He joined Dana after the acquisition of Echlin Inc. in 1998.
Prior to that assignment, Pavey was responsible for the Brake Parts Inc. division of Echlin where he held numerous management positions prior to being named president in 1990.
Before joining the brake business he served as vice president of marketing for BWD Automotive after spending five years with Walker Manufacturing in sales.
