To better support its customers’ technical service requirements, AIM has expanded its technical support department that includes the appointment of Melody Smith as a technical support assistant. OBITUARY: Former Grote Rep David Baratti Passes Away

David Baratti, 45, vice president of sales and marketing for Heil Environmental, died June 17 at home in Chattanooga, TN. Baratti joined Heil in January 2002 as general sales manager, eastern region. Baratti came to Heil from Grote Industries, a vehicle safety systems manufacturer. He joined Grote in 1990 as a field rep. After a stint as Southeast regional sales manager, he spent four years as manager of marketing services, with responsibility for marketing, product development and customer service. He was named director of OEM sales in 1997 and held this position until he signed on at Heil.
