Major Automakers Top Fortune’s Global 500 List
General Motors managed to squeeze into the top 10 companies listed on Fortune magazine’s Global 500 list – the magazine’s annual ranking of the world’s largest corporations. While GM, listed at No. 9, ranked higher than Daimler (No. 11) and Ford (No. 13), it was still trumped by Toyota Motor Co. Mid America Motorworks, a provider of parts and accessories for Corvettes and Air-Cooled Volkswagens, has selected Mr. Gasket Performance Group as the recipient of its first annual M-Curve Supplier of the Year Award. The award honors Mr. Gasket’s exceptional performance in providing products and service to Mid America Motorworks and its customers. Goodyear Names New VP, General Manager, OE Tires
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has named Johann Finkelmeier vice president and general manager of OE tires for the company’s North American Tire division. Finkelmeier will report to Larry Mason, Goodyear’s North American president of consumer tires.
