Program distribution group IWD/Auto Pride recently added Gary’s Auto Parts of Waterbury, CT, as its newest member. Gary’s Auto Parts is a large paint distributor to paint and body shops throughout Connecticut and part of New York State.

IWD Reports Record Attendance for Auto Pride/Truck Pride Annual Meeting
IWD, Auto Pride/Truck Pride reported record attendance for its 20th annual membership meeting, which took place March 30-April 3 in Las Vegas. During the meeting, 2004 Auto Service Expert of the Year Dan Bryant from Bryant’s Automotive in Redding, Calif., and 2004 Truck Service Expert of the Year Stephane Jobin from Stephane’s Mobile Repair in Lac La Biche, Alberta, Canada, were honored for Outstanding Performance with Auto and Truck Service Expert Programs.

California wholesaler Completes Plus has joined IWD/Auto Pride. Completes Plus serves the Western Los Angeles, Calif., area from its 20,000-square-foot warehouse in Lawndale, Calif. The company also operates three satellite warehouses in Englewood, Venice, and Torrance, Calif.
Three New Members Join the Auto Pride Group
Auto Pride, the automotive division of IWD warehouse distribution group, has added three new members. Among the new members are Precision Brake and Wheel of Porterville, Calif., Discount Auto Parts of Pacoima, Calif., and Knight’s Auto Parts of Raton, NM. Founded in 1985 with 15 members, today IWD has grown into an international distribution network with more than 800 member locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Auto Pride Convention Focuses on EDI Initiatives
On the sun-drenched shore of Florida’s southern Atlantic coast, IWD (Independent Warehouse Distributors) Auto Pride/Truck Pride held its 19th Annual Membership Meeting on April 28 through May 2. The event included participation from 117 members and their families, as well as 137 manufacturers/suppliers in attendance. While the members participated in more than 10 strategy and program sessions, the manufacturers hosted a booth show during the second day of the event.
