Federal-Mogul’s Carter Fuel Delivery Products Facility Passes TS 16949 Audit

Federal-Mogul’s Logansport, Ind., facility has been recommended for certification to the ISO/TS 16949 global automotive quality standard. Recommendation is a formality in the process, final approval is expected in the next 60 to 90 days. The 170,000-square-foot plant manufactures a broad range of premium original equipment and OE-quality replacement fuel system components marketed under the Carter Fuel Delivery Products brand.

SEMA Sets Fall Dates for Installer Certification Tests

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) will hold its fall test session for Z1-Z4 accessory installation certification on Tuesday, Nov. 9, in more than 700 locations around the United States and Canada, as well as elsewhere outside the United States. Indiana Visteon Workers Approve Four-year Pact

After a 15-day strike marred by violence, workers at a Visteon Corp. auto parts plant in Bedford, Ind., approved a contract Sunday that union leaders say includes wage concessions and a guaranteed limit on job cuts. Union members at the Bedford plant voted 528-410 to accept the four-year contract, announced Saturday, said Tom Jones, vice president of International Union of Electrical Workers-Communications Workers of America Local 907. Employees were to report for work on Tuesday.
