MACS President to Speak at Australian Mobile A/C Conference

MACS president and COO Elvis Hoffpauir will deliver a presentation on mobile A/C service trends in the U.S. at the 2004 Wire & Gas Training Convention and Trade Show in Brisbane, Australia. Hoffpauir will be among a number of leading experts to speak about vehicle air conditioning design and future trends at the event, which takes place June 11-14.

LANSDALE, PA — MACS president and COO Elvis Hoffpauir will deliver a presentation on mobile A/C service trends in the U.S. at the 2004 Wire & Gas Training Convention and Trade Show in Brisbane, Australia. Hoffpauir will be among a number of leading experts to speak about vehicle air conditioning design and future trends at the event, which takes place June 11-14.

The convention is held by the Vehicle Air Conditioning Specialists of Australia (VASA) and Australian Association of Automotive Electricians (AAAE) every two years. VASA and MACS share a common mission of promoting professional mobile A/C and engine cooling system service and repair methods to their members.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 7024, the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024, with bipartisan support. The bill, now with the Senate's Finance Committee, aims to reinstate tax incentives for research and development (R&D) and small business investments, along with other measures, according to SEMA.
