Continental Product Lines Now Include VDO and ATE
The VDO and ATE brands are now part of the Continental Corporation’s product portfolio. The addition of the VDO lines of electric motors, engine management, instrumentation, and door systems comes as part of the acquisition of Siemens VDO AG by Continental AG. The ATE lines of brake rotors, pads, and service parts had already been part of the Continental portfolio. Along with the VDO and ATE lines, Continental now offers a complete line of TPMS replacement parts under the Continental brand.

SmarTire Signs Agreement with GE Sensing
SmarTire Systems Inc. has announced that it has signed a three-year agreement with GE Sensing for the continued supply of a key component of SmarTire’s tire monitoring system. SmarTire’s current tire monitoring sensors already include the GE Sensing NPX component, which monitors pressure and temperature information within the tire. The tire monitoring sensors have been optimized by combining GE Sensing’s NPX component with other RF and power management components in SmarTire’s tire monitoring systems to provide optimum performance and durability.
