Eugene Service Parts Acquires Fortuna Distributing

According to Gary Davis, vice president of Eugene Service Parts, the company has plans to expand Fortuna’s Albany and Medford, Ore., warehouses and inventories, which will leverage Eugene Service Parts for growth in the markets they serve.

AAIA Elects Robert Egan Chairman of the Board; New Officers Also Elected

Egan is vice president, North America — Global Aftermarket of Federal-Mogul, headquartered in Southfield, Mich. Before joining Federal-Mogul in 1980, Egan spent 12 years at Chrysler Corp. in a number of sales and marketing management positions. For the past three years, he has been heavily involved with AAIA and served on the Show Committee, Board of Directors and Executive Committee. In 2008, Egan was honored with the Leader of the Year Award from the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA).

Parts Authority Holds Successful 2010 Trade Show

More than 5,000 attendees came to the event, including more than 4,000 technician customers. Approximately 100 vendors displayed their products at the trade show, and 589 “Ride and Drives,” sponsored by Monroe took place.
