DENSO Introduces New Management System to Begin in June

DENSO Corp. has announced a reorganization of the company’s management structure, set to take effect after its annual stockholders meeting in June. The new structure will include a board of directors and non-board managing officers. The current system consists only of a board of directors. The reorganization was designed to streamline operations, said Koichi Fukaya, president and CEO of DENSO.

Beck/Arnley has updated its ElectriCat database to include current Beck/Arnley catalog offerings. ElectriCat manages application details for import or domestic models, including: passenger car, agriculture, industrial, off-road, motorcycle, ATV, marine and light, medium and heavy truck. It currently houses coverage for the years 1912 to 2004, for the Dana Automotive Aftermarket Group’s complete underhood, undercar, electrical, filtration, cooling and driveline offerings.

ATP-Inc. to Produce Illustrated Parts Catalog Internally Using e-Publisher

The e-Publisher catalog management system from Vertical Development Inc. (VDI) has given replacement parts supplier ATP-Inc. the capability to generate illustrated parts lists and catalogs internally, bypassing traditional typesetting and desktop publishing services. According to VDI, the system will also allow ATP to produce literature faster and export data mapped in industry-standard formats.

Tenneco Automotive Expands ‘Expert Plus’ Rewards Program

Tenneco Automotive’s Monroe shocks and struts and Walker exhaust brands have expanded the Expert Plus automotive service promotions and technician rewards program for 2004. Expert Plus is a comprehensive offering of national trade and consumer promotions, marketing materials, merchandising tools and installation incentives for automotive repair facilities and professional technicians. The program attracted more than 20,000 members in 2003.
