CCC Information Services, a supplier of technology solutions to the automotive claims and collision repair industries, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire ProcessClaims, Inc., a provider of process-focused software solutions for the automotive claims industry. The closing of the acquisition is expected in the next few weeks, subject to customary closing conditions.
Federal-Mogul Recognized by GM, Honda
Federal-Mogul was named a General Motors Global Supplier of the Year for its overall business performance in providing GM with world-class powertrain products and technology. The award was given during ceremonies held Saturday, April 29, at the General Motors Technical Center in Warren, MI. SEMA Member Companies and Their Employees Ask Senators to Deliver Health Care Relief
Providing employees with access to affordable health care coverage is the number one legislative issue for the member companies of SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market Association. Representing nearly 6,600 member companies with over 1 million employees, SEMA has asked the United States Senate to pass S. 1955 when it comes to a vote during the week of May 8. The bill will allow trade associations to offer small business health plans (SBHPs).

Delphi Completes Sale of Battery Product Line to Johnson Controls Inc
In line with its ongoing portfolio- restructuring plan, Delphi Corp. has sold its battery product line, with the exception of two U.S. operations, to Milwaukee-based Johnson Controls Inc., for $202.5 million. The business sold includes Delphi’s global starting, lighting and ignition lead-acid battery operations, including joint venture interests.
