Accuride Announces Two Board Appointments
Accuride Corp. has announced the appointments of Donald Johnson, Jr. and Craig Muhlhauser to its board of directors. Johnson has also been appointed to the board’s audit committee. The appointments are effective immediately. Johnson is currently president and chief executive officer of Aftermarket Technology Corp. (ATAC), a leading remanufacturer of a wide range of automotive drivetrain products. Prior to joining ATAC, Johnson was global director, parts, supply and logistics at Ford Motor Co. He was an executive at Caterpillar, prior to joining Ford.

Bosch Announces Executive Changes in its North American Automotive Aftermarket Division
Robert Bosch Corp. has announced a number of changes in its North American Automotive Aftermarket Division. David Caracci, vice president of sales – national accounts, will retire on May 15. The company said Caracci may continue to support the firm occasionally on various aftermarket initiatives, but plans to spend much of his time at his favorite hobby — yacht racing. An aftermarket veteran of thirty-two years, and currently chairman of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association Board of Directors, Caracci said he is also looking forward to investing more of his time into industry volunteer projects.
DURA Automotive Announces Director Appointments
The board of directors for DURA Automotive Systems has elected Walter Czarnecki and Nick Preda to fill two vacant positions on the board. With these additions, DURA’s board now consists of nine members.
GPI Announces Management Appointments
At its December meeting, the board of directors of General Parts, Inc. appointed O. Temple Sloan, III as its president and CEO, effective January 31. The GPI board announced several other appointments to its management team.
