BROADVIEW, IL — Robert Bosch Corp. has announced a number of changes in its North American Automotive Aftermarket Division.
David Caracci, vice president of sales – national accounts, will retire on May 15. The company said Caracci may continue to support the firm occasionally on various aftermarket initiatives, but plans to spend much of his time at his favorite hobby — yacht racing. An aftermarket veteran of thirty-two years, and currently chairman of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association Board of Directors, Caracci said he is also looking forward to investing more of his time into industry volunteer projects.
“This move allows me to devote more time to the industry that has provided me with a wonderful lifestyle, many friends and terrific memories. Now, I can really put my efforts into the educational needs of the aftermarket and still have time to go sailing,” Caracci said.
David Coolidge, currently vice president – sales and supply chain management, will prepare for his role as successor to Knut Bendixen as president – North American automotive aftermarket division, and executive vice president, global automotive aftermarket division, with responsibility for North America. As previously announced, Bendixen will retire effective July 1.
Larry Milligan, currently vice president – automotive marketing, will become vice president sales – independent aftermarket. In this position, Milligan will lead the sales functions for the traditional aftermarket, national accounts and heavy duty independent aftermarket in North America. He also remains responsible for Bosch automotive aftermarket technical service.
Chuck Ruth, currently director, product management – gasoline systems, will assume the new position of director, automotive marketing. Ruth will be responsible for leading the automotive product management and sales controlling and pricing functions.
All of these appointments are effective May 16.
