Timken Board Elects John Reilly as Director

The Timken Co.’s board of directors has elected John Reilly, non-executive chairman of Exide Technologies, as a director of the company. His election expands the Timken board to 13 directors. Reilly has served as non-executive chairman of Exide Technologies since 2004. He previously served as president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Stant Corp., chairman, president and CEO of Figgie International, president of Brunswick Corp. and president and CEO of Tenneco Automotive. He also has held leadership positions at Navistar, Mark Body and the former Chrysler Corp.

Accuride Announces Two Board Appointments

Accuride Corp. has announced the appointments of Donald Johnson, Jr. and Craig Muhlhauser to its board of directors. Johnson has also been appointed to the board’s audit committee. The appointments are effective immediately. Johnson is currently president and chief executive officer of Aftermarket Technology Corp. (ATAC), a leading remanufacturer of a wide range of automotive drivetrain products. Prior to joining ATAC, Johnson was global director, parts, supply and logistics at Ford Motor Co. Todd Dunn has been promoted to CEO from his previous position as senior vice president, CFO and chief administrative officer. Dunn joined FleetPride in October 2003 and served the prior four years as CFO of Tartan Textile Services, Inc., another Aurora Capital Group affiliate. Prior to joining Tartan, Dunn was CFO of QDSP, Inc., one of the companies that merged to form FleetPride.

Alan Johnson Named President, CEO of Advanced Accessory Systems

Advanced Accessory Systems, a manufacturer of automotive roof racks and towing systems in North America and Europe, has announced the appointment of Alan Johnson as its new president and CEO. Johnson succeeds Terence Seikel, who announced plans to resign last summer, in order to pursue other interests.
