SKF/Chicago Rawhide has redesigned and relaunched its Web site — www.vsm.skf.com . The newly redesigned site combines interactive elements with a user-friendly, navigable layout to service the automotive and heavy duty aftermarkets, according to the company. SKF/CR designed the Web site to include interactive cataloging and product information. The company said it also worked to address the requests and needs of its distributor partners during the redesign.

SKF/Chicago Rawhide Recognized as a John Deere Hall of Fame Supplier

SKF/Chicago Rawhide was recently named a “Partner-level Supplier” to John Deere. The company was inducted into John Deere’s supplier Hall of Fame, part of the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. Hall of Fame status is achieved after a supplier earns Partner-level recognition for five consecutive years.

SKF selected Roush as the first X-Tracker Award recipient due to his legendary success in the automotive and racing industries and his perseverance through his recovery from life-threatening injuries sustained in a 2002 airplane crash.

SKF/CR Launches New Online Catalog

SKF/Chicago Rawhide has launched a new online catalog of bearings and seals for car and light truck applications. The online catalog is capable of searching by application, part number or by a manufacturers’ part number. Once a part is selected, a separate screen appears showing an image of the part, as well as the specifications and properties of the part. According to SKF, the online catalog offers the most up-to-date product information and also eliminates the use of printed materials.
