ELGIN, IL — SKF/Chicago Rawhide was recently named a “Partner-level Supplier” to John Deere.

The company was inducted into John Deere’s supplier Hall of Fame, part of the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. Hall of Fame status is achieved after a supplier earns Partner-level recognition for five consecutive years. The “Partner-level” classification is the highest level of supplier recognition awarded by John Deere Power Systems. Recognition for achievement in excellence is based on several product, logistical and customer service characteristics, including superior quality, delivery, technical support, cost management and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness.

“Receiving recognition from John Deere is an honor that we strive to achieve each year,” said Mike McGrath, vice president-aftermarket Ssales, SKF/Chicago Rawhide. “As a member of the supplier Hall of Fame, SKF/CR will continue to maintain its Partner classification, and will look to instill new practices to take the relationship to another level.”
